Brock School of Business, Samford University
Has anyone not been disturbed at the acts of violence we have witnessed in the past several months? Not only have we witnessed violence in our schools, theaters, etc. but many of us can provide illustrations of workplace violence and many of us talk about how violence seems to be increasing. I doubt many of us are now saying “it can’t happen here”. We are all asking how can we address our exposure and what can we do to minimize acts of violence at our work place.
We invite you to participate in a three hour seminar designed to help you recognize signs of potential violence; develop a strategy to curb violence and to help you develop a plan to foster a safer work environment.
You will hear presentations from professionals who deal with this issue every day and you will learn best practices for creating and fostering a safe work environment, gain an understanding of monitoring
techniques, learn how to lower your exposure through the use of properly designed employee assistance programs, and gain an understanding of compliance responsibilities.
If you are the manager or owner of a small company or a manager in a large organization the message is the same. Join us for this interesting and informational seminar.
