Pay equity has become a hot topic in the United States under the Biden administration. According to this HR Drive article by Kate Tornone, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs director, Jenny Yang, shared that the office will place emphasis on pay equity.
The article also states that those directly doing business with the federal government can expect to see an emphasis on compliance with nondiscrimination practices. Yang has a background working at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
