McDonald’s to make Anti-Harassment Training Mandatory

McDonald’s has pledged to make anti-harassment training mandatory for all of its locations around the world by the start of 2022. According to this HR Drive article by Emma Liem Beckett, this massive pledge promises to be in all 39,000 sites. Additionally, all franchisees will be required to procure information from their employees regarding how they feel in their work environments.

According to the article, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski asked for this new system to come to fruition after reviewing the fast-food giant’s policies. Kempczinski replaced his predecessor, who was accused of sexual misconduct.
