Boeing Terminates Employees for Discriminatory Behaviors


Boeing, one of the largest aerospace companies in the world, has terminated 65 employees following its zero tolerance policy toward discrimination in the workplace. According to this HR Drive article by Lisa Burden, the company not only terminated these employees, but “took corrective action against another 53 for engaging in ‘racist, discriminatory or otherwise hateful conduct.'”


According to the article, David Calhoun, Boeing’s CEO and president, shared a statement that confirmed Boeing’s dedication to providing its employees with a safe and fair working environment. The company also released its demographic makeup, which provides the public with transparency and supports accountability.
